Old haunt derelict now

The Britannia Hotel, after more name changes than you could poke a stick at, now stands derelict in Cleveland Street Chippendale. In one of its manifestations, Beau’s, it was the first gay bar I ever ventured into, way back in 1985. Very welcoming it was too.

In another manifestation it was the pub where Roger Rogerson met Warren Lanfranchi on the night Lanfranchi was gunned down.
